Terms of Service

MyLabResults provides an at-home test kit activation and results service. We operate the platform that lets you activate a DNA or DNA+Epigenetic kit, track your sample, and receive your results in a single private account — no matter which partner brand the kit came through.

The Service includes:

• Kit activation and registration.

• Sample status tracking, from dispatch to lab receipt to results.

• Secure delivery of your DNA and epigenetic results into your account.

• Partner-branded activation and results experiences for kits sold under partner brands.

We are not a laboratory, a medical practice, or a healthcare provider. Laboratory analysis is performed by our accredited lab partners, and test kits are sold by us or by partner brands under their own terms. Any kit you purchase from a partner is subject to that partner’s own terms and conditions.

The information provided through the Service — including your test results and any other content — is for educational and informational purposes only.

It is not:

• Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

• A substitute for consultation with a qualified physician.

• An endorsement of any specific health intervention, supplement, or protocol.

Always consult a licensed healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or modifying any health-related protocol based on your results. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read on the Service.

If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or emergency services immediately.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

The Service is intended for users in jurisdictions where the content is lawful. It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of the Service complies with the laws of your location.

To access your results, you must create an account. Accounts use passwordless sign-in: we email you a single-use sign-in link. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure and for all activity under your account.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and activating a kit, and to keep it up to date. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Test kits activated through the Service are sold by us or by partner brands. Where you purchase from a partner, the price, payment terms, and any refund or cancellation policy are set by that partner and presented at their point of sale. MyLabResults does not process payments on behalf of partners.

Where you purchase directly from us, prices are displayed at the point of purchase and are subject to change without notice. The price charged is the price displayed at the time you place your order. Refund and cancellation policies are set out at the point of purchase.

All content on the Service — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of MyLabResults or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Partner branding displayed within partner-branded experiences remains the property of the respective partner.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from the Service without our prior written permission.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

• Attempt to access another person’s account, kits, or results.

• Activate a kit that is not lawfully in your possession.

• Submit false, misleading, or intentionally inaccurate information during activation or through any other form.

• Use automated means (bots, scrapers, scripts) to access the Service without our permission.

• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service or its underlying infrastructure.

• Attempt to reverse-engineer or decompile any part of the Service.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, including partner brands and laboratories. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, products, or practices of any third party. Your dealings with third parties — including kit purchases from partner brands — are solely between you and that third party.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure; that any defects will be corrected; or that the results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable.

Laboratory results are produced by third-party accredited laboratories and presented to you as received. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or clinical significance of those results. You assume full responsibility for any decisions you make based on information provided through the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MyLabResults and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to personal injury, loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred pounds (£100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyLabResults and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any legal action arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If the changes are material, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the new terms take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
